Jodi earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Hearing Sciences from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) in Moorhead, MN. She also obtained her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from MSUM. She has a passion for providing cognitive-communication treatment to adolescents and adults with a variety of diagnoses including traumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke, ADHD, and multiple sclerosis. Her functional treatment focuses on improving skills such as attention, memory, and executive functioning while developing strategies to compensate, so her patients can live a fulfilling life. Having completed the certification requirements approved by the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists Board of Governors, Jodi is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), further demonstrating her dedication to providing quality care to individuals with brain injury from a Speech Language Pathology perspective. Jodi is also certified to provide Berard Auditory Integration Training to improve sensitivity to sounds, and other challenges such as poor attention, slowed thinking, and difficulty ignoring background sounds.
