Whitney Johnson earned her Master of Science degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2015. She has experience in both the school and private practice/outpatient setting. Whitney has a strong passion for helping others communicate and advocate across environments. She loves to make a difference in the lives of her patients and their families during their personal journey. Whitney appreciates the lasting impact each patient has on her as they work toward a common goal together. Whitney's professional expertise include areas of articulation, language, cognitive-communication, executive functioning, and voice disorders. She has training in visual phonics to teach children to understand sounds through kinesthetic and visual cuing. Whitney joined the Onword Therapy team part-time/summers in 2015 and full-time in 2018.
