I am blessed to be able to help others on their journey to achieve hope, peace, and personal wellness. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated, who know help is needed, and who are ready to receive the help offered. I know how challenging and scary it can be to admit you need help but are uncertain where to go or even where to start.</p> <p>I started Aurora Counseling to allow the freedom to do my best work with you, my client. I specialize in grief and loss counseling. Whether you are struggling after the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, loss of a job, or whatever loss has happened my goal is to provide hope and to make you feel like you can breathe again. Together we will untangle the mess and start putting the pieces of your life back together. I also love working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem concerns, and body image issues.</p> <p>My approach to counseling is rooted in person-centered therapy. My focus is on building a relationship with you and directing our sessions to what works best for you. I truly believe the relationship we will build is crucial to helping you grow and making the impossible seem possible.
